OBIT-BRAFORD, R.

NATURAL BRIDGE STATION - Robert Douglas Braford died Saturday, February 2, 1991, in the V.A. Medical Center, Salem. He was born in Rockbridge County and was the son of the late Herbert and Mary Katherine Payne Braford. Surviving are his wife, Loleta King Braford, Natural Bridge Station; three stepdaughters, Catherine Knick, Glasgow; Carol Dyer, Ashland; Sherri Wilson, Chester; two stepsons, Wayne Smith and John Farrar, both of Buena Vista; one brother, Homer S. Braford, Bulls Gap, Tenn.; nine stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Braford Family Cemetery with the Rev. Claude Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
