Joseph A. Mullins, age 95 of Roanoke, passed away February 3, 1991. He was born in Callaway, Va., January 22, 1896 and was preceded in death by his wife, Helen H. Mullins. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the 80th Division of the U.S. Army and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons, Joseph L. Mullins, Roanoke; and Robert A. Mullins, Matthews, N.C.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Anne Furrow, Lewisburg, W.Va., Mrs. Susan Sanders, Kernersville, N.C.; and Ms. Amy Mullins, N.C.; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Olie Biggs, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with Dr. John H. LaMotte officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
