William Julius Clark, Jr., age 74, of Roanoke, died Monday in a local hospital. Mr. Clark was an auditor for the Virginia A.B.C. Board, and retired after 32 years of service. He was a member of Windsor Hills Baptist Church and a volunteer at Roanoke Memorial Rehabilitation Center and Friendship Manor. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Carper Clark; sons and daughters-in-law, William J., III and Mary Jane Clark, Indianapolis, Ind.; Marshall L. and Fely Clark, Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Carrie Sue and Edward J. Crosby, Seaford, Va.; seven grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte C. and R. Sigmond Miller, Baltimore, Md.; Laura C. and Marvin E. Holcombe, Roanoke; Susan C. Burke, Charlotte, N.C. Services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. C. Lawrence Dodson and the Rev. John W. Buck officiating. Interment will be 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in Thornspring United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pulaski, Va. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Roanoke.
