SOME IDLED WORKERS TO GET JOB-HUNT FUNDS
Trade Adjustment Assistance funds totaling $575,000 have been provided for
training, job search and relocation expenses for more than 100 workers at AT&T
at Fairlawn, Hercules Inc. at Covington and Sprague Electric Co. at Hillsville
who were laid off as a result of increased imports of foreign products.
The U.S. Labor Department's Employment and Training Administration said the
