MONETA MAN KILLED IN FIERY ACCIDENT

A Moneta man was killed Saturday afternoon when the van he was driving went out of control, struck a tree and caught fire, state police said.

Wilbur Lee Catron, 19, of Route 4 in Moneta, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 1:55 p.m. accident on Route 616 in Goodview, state police said.

The van first ran off the road's right shoulder, then swerved and ran off the left shoulder before striking a tree and catching on fire, state police said.
