HOWELL-YOUNG

Mr. and Mrs. George T. Howell, Jr., of Radford announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth, to Kevin Scott Young. He is the son of Homer F. and Susan B. Young of Buchanan. Katherine, a graduate of Radford High School and New River Community College, is employed at Crestar Bank in Radford. Kevin is a graduate of James River High School, Virginia Western Community College and Radford University. He is currently employed by Carilion Health Systems in Roanoke. A June 29 wedding is planned.
