NATURAL BRIDGE STATION - Gracie Branch (Dolly) Rhodes, age 90, died February 9, 1991, at the home of her daughter in Colonial Heights. Mrs. Rhodes was born January 19, 1901, in Buckingham County, a daughter of the late George Washington Branch and Emma Ragland Branch. She was a member of the Arnolds Valley Southern Baptist Church and the Glasgow A.A.R.P. She was the widow of Raymond G. Rhodes and was preceded in death by a son, Branch Rhodes. Surviving are one son, Raymond G. Rhodes, Chester; five daughters, Mrs. Emma R. Bowling, Colonial Heights; Mrs. Reva R. Carter, Buena Vista; Mrs. Geraldine R. Markham, Glasgow; Mrs. Jane R. Broughman, Hampton; Ms. Izetta R. Williams, Glasgow; one sister, Mrs. Frances Worley, Natural Bridge; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 1991, at the Arnolds Valley Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald W. Stine and the Rev. Douglas Milliner officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
