MARLINS, GATORS GET TOP PERFORMANCES

The Roanoke Valley Gators won three events and the Carter Center Marlins one in the final day of competition in the Lynchburg Piranha Invitational B/C swimming meet Sunday.

The Marlins' Amanda Eubank won the 50-meter backstroke in the 11-12 year old division.

Laura Webb, the 100-meter freestyle relay team and Lindsey Maze were winners for the Gators.
