AMTRAK EXPANDS ROANOKE BUS SERVICE

Amtrak has expanded its bus service for Roanoke passengers connecting with its east-west passenger trains that stop at Clifton Forge. The buses have added a stop at Campbell Court in downtown Roanoke and another at the Sheraton Airport Inn.

The bus, which runs on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, takes departing passengers for the eastbound train from Campbell Court at noon. It brings arriving passengers at 3:30 p.m. Roanoke passengers for the westbound train leave Campbell Court at 4 p.m. and a bus brings arriving passengers downtown at 7:35 p.m. - Staff report
