Arthur P. Lamneck, Jr., age 84, of 720 Blue Ridge Avenue, Apartment S163, died Friday, February 15, 1991, in a Salem hospital. He was born in Indiana and was a retired Major after having served in both the Army and the Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was the husband of Alise Wilkes Lamneck. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, William W. Wilkes, Harrisonburg; one sister, Kathryn Hibbins, Washington, D.C. The family will receive friends at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
