GALAX - Elsie Vergie Beeman, age 69, of Route 5, Galax, died in the Wytheville Community Hospital Saturday, February 16, 1991. Mrs. Beeman is survived by her husband, Julian Lee Beeman, Galax; daughters, Mrs. Alice Baker, Blacksburg; Mrs. Velma Honosky, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Mrs. Nancy McGlothlin, Dublin; sisters, Mrs. Bethel Blankenship and Mrs. Goldie Lambert, both of Welch, W.Va.; brothers, Bill Sizemore, Kimball, W.Va.; Charlie Sizemore, Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18, 1991, in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Interment will be in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens.
