ATHENS, W.VA. - Mary P. Strong, age 72, of Athens, W.Va., died Saturday in a Princeton, W.Va. hospital. Born in Hoges Chapel, Va., she was the daughter of the late William Mason and Mattie White Price. Survivors include two sons, Edward D. Strong Jr., Clifton Forge; James B. Strong, Bluefield, W.Va.; three daughters, Sandra Rose, Princeton, W.Va.; Barbara Mullins, Columbia, S.C.; Helen Sisson, Hinton, W.Va.; two sisters, Betty Love, Pearisburg, Va.; Faye Collins, Roanoke, Va. Private graveside services will be held Tuesday. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton, W.Va.
