Jackson was honored Monday at U.S. Postal Service ceremonies commemorating black Americans. The cancellation, part of the city's celebration of Black History Month, is available only at local post offices.
The cancellation mark also includes likenesses of Martin Luther King Jr., Sojourner Truth and Harriet Tubman.
The other living American to be depicted on a stamp cancellation is former astronaut John Glenn, now a U.S. senator from Ohio.
