TROUTVILLE - David Lee Franklin, age 52, died at his home, Wednesday, February 20, 1991. He was a member of and a Past Worshipful Master of Melrose Lodge #139, AF & AM; a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and Kazim Temple Shrine and was an employee of the Engineering Department of Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Gladys W. Franklin; his mother, Mrs. Alice T. Finney, Roanoke; one stepsister, Mrs. Joan Markham, Floyd County; and a favorite aunt, Mrs. Eunice Barton, Troutville. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23 with the Rev. Carter Sloan and the Rev. Gene Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Melrose Lodge #139 will hold a Masonic Memorial Service at Oakeys North Chapel, 7:30 p.m. Friday. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
