Flemon I. Guilliams, age 89, formerly of Richard Ave., N.E. died at Richfield Nursing Home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Frebruary 20, 1991. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl A. Proffit Guilliams. He was a member of the East End Baptist Church and a retired employee of the American Viscose Corporation. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Flemon I. Jr. and Kitty Guilliams; Curtis E. and Carol Guilliams, all of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Jonathan Guilliams, Roanoke; Judy Lynn Goodwin Kerstetter; Donna Fay Johnson, both of Houston, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Shannon K. Johnson, Lori Ann Austin; brother Thelmo (John) Guilliams, Calloway; five sisters, Ethel Underwood, Roanoke; Eve Hale, Mazie Wright; Millie Furrow; Liva Mullins, all of Rocky Mount. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
