Beatrice Callahan Comer, age 90, of 2100B Weeping Willow Dr., died Thursday, February 21, 1991, in Lynchburg General Hospital. Her husband was the late Brooker Thomas Comer. Born in Vinton, she was the daughter of the late William L. Callahan and Mary Stiff Callahan. She was a member of Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Ms. Jean R. Comer, Lynchburg; a son, Rev. Charles H. Comer, Salem; one brother, Howard E. Callahan, Pompano Beach, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Powell, Vinton; two grandchildren, Stephanie Coleman, Lynchburg; Kay Hill, Southport, N.C. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, February 25, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. in Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. A private interment will take place later at Princess Anne Memorial Park in Virginia Beach, Va..
