Elsie Mae Sadler Gautier, age 75, died Thursday, February 21, 1991 in Giles Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Gautier was born in Giles County on May 26, 1915 and was the daughter of the late, Floyd A. and Martha Lindsey Sadler. She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus of Narrows. She was the widow of Clarence H. Gautier. She is survived by one son, Bill Gautier of Pembroke; six daughters, Linda Neice of Maybrooke; Mary Atkins of Pearisburg; Marie Wilson of Pearisburg; Betty Nelson of Narrows; Brenda Hodge of Pearisburg; Sue Hale of Pearisburg; two sisters, Mrs. Ossie Lindsey of Pearisburg; Mrs. Margie Davis of Wytheville; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Givens Funeral Chapel, Pearisburg with the Rev. Cleanard Thornsberry and Rev. Ray Woodyard officiating with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Narrows. Friends may call at the Givens Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
