Contractors in Roanoke and Christiansburg, a Norton trucking company have filed business petitions in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Roanoke. Thomas G. Nau, doing business as Precise General Contracting in Roanoke, asked for liquidation, reporting debt of $149,961 and assets of $98,490. Thavan Corp. of Christiansburg, headed by David F. Thacker, listed debt of $1.6 million and assets of $1.2 million in its petition for reorganization.

Jesse Trucking Co. of Norton and Quality Printers Inc. of Bristol filed for reorganization. The Norton business, headed by Harold Jesse, said its debt is $412,901 and its assets, $333,358. - Staff report
