Nana Berrie Holt Wray, age 76, of Route 1, Callaway, left this earth to be at rest after a long illness on Sunday, February 24, 1991, at her residence. Surviving are her husband of fifty-nine years, Oscar Wray; one son, Dr. William H. Wray, Callaway; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley W. and Ray W. Hodges, Boones Mill; Alice W. and Robert Pearcy, Callaway; a granddaughter, Marie Hodges; three grandsons, Charles Hodges, Russell Hodges and David Hodges; three great-grandchildren, Lynanne, Kyle, and Anthony Hodges; three brothers, Rufus Holt, Cletus Holt, both of Roanoke; William Holt, Bedford; one sister, Violet Manning, Pittsville. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel Tuesday, February 26, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Paris (Pete) Bain and the Rev. Frank H. Wimmer officiating. Interment will be in Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Floyd County. The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Bent Mount Rescue Squad and the Boones Mill Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
