The Lady Maroons (26-1), ranked eighth in Division III, will play second-seeded Marymount on Saturday at the Bast Center.
"I'm really excited," said Roanoke coach Susan Dunagan, whose team is making its second straight NCAA appearance. "Even though [Marymount] is No. 2, we're just happy to host it and to get another shot in the tournament."
In the other South Region game, third-seeded Maryville (Tenn.) will play host to Centre (Ky.).
In the men's Division III tournament, ODAC champion Randolph-Macon (25-2) and runner-up Emory & Henry (24-4) received bids.
The Wasps will play host to Shenandoah (21-5) on Thursday night. The winner of that game will travel to Dixie Conference champion Christopher Newport (23-4) on Saturday.
Randolph-Macon, also with a bye, will entertain the winner of Thursday's first-round game between Washington (Mo.) College (18-8) and Maryville, Tenn. (22-4).
In Anderson, S.C., second-seeded Radford will face No. 7 Charleston Southern at 7 p.m. Thursday as the first round of the Big South Tournament gets under way.
Also in the first round, No. 1 Coastal Carolina faces No. 8 Campbell at 1 p.m.; No. 4 Davidson meets No. 5 Winthrop at 3 p.m., and No. 3 Augusta against No. 6 UNC Asheville at 9 p.m.
