PUT `DOONESBURY' ON EDITORIAL PAGE

GARRY TRUDEAU and his "Doonesbury" characters are doing it again. For many years, he has attacked traditional American values and let his cartoon characters denigrate what most fair-minded people hold dear.

I realize that some take pleasure in this type of satire. I do feel it totally inappropriate, however, to include this cartoon on the comics page. It is not entertaining, and it is certainly not humorous. It is a political cartoon and should be placed on the Editorial Page as one more forum for a left-leaning philosophy.
