OBIT CALDWELL, W.

CALDWELL, W. PERCY/ William Percy Caldwell, age 80, of Roankoe, died Saturday. He was a member of Waverly Place Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice W. Caldwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Ramona C. (Peggy) and Ned Abbott of Stewartsville; grandchildren and spouses, Kynn and Jeanne Abbott, Martha and Arnold Minnix, both of Stewartsville; Cathy Showalter of Salem; and three great-grandchildren, Patrick Showalter, Megan and Nathan Abbott; a brother, Sidney Caldwell of Roanoke. Services will be from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Charles Hoffler will officiate. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
