OBIT GRIGGS, D.

Devine K. Griggs, age 75, of Salem, died Sunday, March 3, 1991. Devine was a member of Etta Chapter No. 185 Order of the Eastern Star, a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church in America, and was the widow of William F. Griggs Sr. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, William F., Jr. and Judy B. Griggs, John T. and Donna H. Griggs, all of Roanoke; a sister, Nell K. Beasley, Hamilton, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 with the Rev. Lonnie Barnes officiating. Following the service the family will visit with friends. Please omit flowers and the family suggest memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. Oakeys' South Chapel is handling arrangements.
