RATHDRUM, IDAHO - Clyde Willis, 72, of Rathdrum, Idaho, formerly of Narrows, died Saturday. He was born in Dickenson County, Va. on May 13, 1918 and was the son of the late Grover Cleveland and Rosa Rakes Willis. He was a retired welder and was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Ida Blevins Willis; two sons, Warren Willis, Whittier, Calif.; Byron Willis, Laughlin, Nev.; two daughters, Joletta Chastain, Upland, Calif.; Marla Edwards, Spokane, Wash.; two sisters, Elva W. Davis and Elsie W. Riddle, both of Narrows; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Burial services will be held Saturday in Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, Calif.
