OBIT-MANNING, B.

Mrs. Betty Yates Manning, age 64, of Vinton, died Monday in a local hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. James L. Yates and a brother, Jimmy Yates, all formerly of Vinton. She was member of Vinton Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Irvin L. Manning; two daughters and son-in-law, Robin Etter, Vinton; Becky and Chris Wilburn, Salem; four grandchildren, Patrick and Lendsay Etter, Vinton; Scott and Kerri Wilburn, Salem, brother-in-law and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn B. Manning, Pittsburgh, Pa. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 1991 with the Rev. Dr. William L. Ross officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to Vinton Rescue Squad or the Vinton Baptist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
