OBIT-BROWN, H.

ROCKY MOUNT-Harry Brown, age 84, of Route 2, died Sunday, March 3, 1991 in the local hospital. He was preceded in death by a son, Wallace Brown and a grandson, Harry Linwood Brown, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Nola McGhee Brown; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mabel and Everette Kirks, Marie Brown Whitt, all of Rocky Mount; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Harry Linwood and Ava Brown, Roanoke; Douglas Cobbs and JoAnne Brown, Rocky Mount; Alice S. Brown, Collinsville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Franklin Memorial Park with the Rev. David Greenawalt and Rev. Gary Hazelwood, officiating. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday where the family will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Fork Mountain Rescue Squad, Route 3, Bassett, Va. 24055.
