CHRISTIANSBURG - Reva Sarver Perdue, age 80, of 317 Pepper Street, died Sunday, March 3, 1991, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nadine Cox. She is survived by her husband, Norma A. Perdue; a daughter and son-in-law, Treva and Jim Toothman, Blacksburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Sally Perdue, Springfield; Jack and Dot Perdue, Christiansburg; Ted and Dot Perdue, Monclair, Va.; two sisters, Clarsie Furrow, Dorothy Cook, both of Salem; a brother, Houston Sarver, Ironto; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from Christiansburg First Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by her grandsons, the Rev. Steven Perdue and the Rev. Robert Perdue. Interment will follow in the Halls Church Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Tuesday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
