WAYNESBORO - Ernest A. Talley, age 88, of 730 Highland Avenue, Waynesboro, died Monday afternoon, March 4, 1991, in the Blue Ridge Christian Home in Stuarts Draft. He is survived by his wife, Josephine B. Talley; one daughter, Wanda T. Purcell of Roanoke; one granddaughter, Barbara J. Purcell of Richmond; and one grandson, Mark S. Purcell of Roanoke. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Riverview Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Byron Flory. The family request donations be made to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Waynesboro Chapel of Etter Funeral Home.
