INTERNATIONAL WOMEN PLANNING FRIDAY PROGRAM

International Women's Day will be held Friday at Cranwell International Center at Virginia Tech beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The celebration includes exhibits, storytelling, potluck lunch, music and dance.

A panel on "Childbearing and Child Rearing in Our Cultures" concludes the event at 3:30 p.m.

Free child care will be provided at Virginia Tech's campus house, 413 Clay St. in Blacksburg.

The free program is sponsored by the Cranwell center, YMCA International Program, the Program on Women in World Development and the Office of International Development.
