COLLEGE SET TO HOST WOMEN'S WORKSHOPS

Two workshops to help women meet the increasing choices and challenges of the 1990s will be offered at Mountain Empire Community College.

"Effective Communication for the '90s Woman" will be taught Friday and March 22 by college President Ruth Smith. Sharon Fisher will lead a workshop April 19 and 26 on "Building Self-Esteem and Presenting a Professional Image."

Tuition is $29.80 for each one-credit workshop, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
