OBIT WAINWRIGHT, E

Ethel Mae Wainwright, age 85, of Fredericksburg, and formerly of Vinton, died Monday in a Fredericksburg hospital. She was the widow of Lawrence James (Pop) Wainwright. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Marie Pearson, Fredericksburg; three granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vernice Russell, Fla.; Elizabeth Jarrell, Sterling, Va. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Byron Wilkinson and Mr. Ted Neelands officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
