EX-CBS NEWSMAN LEM TUCKER DIES

Family members said he died Saturday at the Washington Home and Hospice and that memorial services will be announced later this week.

He retired on long-term disability from the network in November 1988. He had been medical and science correspondent for "CBS Evening News With Dan Rather" since 1984.

Tucker is survived by his wife, Reney, a daughter and granddaughter in California, his mother, two brothers and two sisters.
