Marvin Clifford Duncan, 76, died Thursday, March 7, 1991, at Radford Community Hospital. He was a World War II veteran and a retired carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Akers Duncan; one son, James M. Duncan, Willis; six daughters, Betty Henry, Hiwassee; Nancy White, Blacksburg; Vera Beckner, Pulaski; Lucy Duncan, and Shirley Duncan, both of Willis; Barbara Harvey, Christiansburg; one sister, Edith D. Cox, Riner; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Turpin and the Rev. Harold Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Indian Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
