IF ONLY VIETNAM VETS HAD SIMILAR SUPPORT

IT DOES my heart good to see what can happen when the American people get behind the troops. It is a shame that those of us who were in Vietnam couldn't get the same support.

I for one won't ever let my country forget how they stabbed us in the back. As long as there is one Vietnam veteran living, we are not going to let people forget. We will fight that war as long as we live.

Now that the war is over for those young men, the sad news is that they are no longer needed. They can fight their government until they are blue in the face for their benefits that were promised but never kept.
