KUWAITI KING, WIVES, KIDS RESTORED

WELL, IT'S war, war, war, off to happy war we go. In this one, we only killed 30,000 people and it only cost $50 billion. We returned to his beloved throne, along with his 50 wives and 200 children, the king of Kuwait. Let's give a big hand for democracy, folks.

This has to be George Bush's finest hour; please don't forget the 400 oil wells we liberated. All of the above for less than 100 of our young men and women lost. Probably most came from poor families anyway.

I think we all owe this newspaper a lot of thanks for the help it gave George (the Lone Ranger) Bush in censoring all the news Mr. President thought was bad for us to know. Censorship and freedom of speech are not about majority rule or even popular will. Freedom of speech is about human dignity and personal freedom. OSWALD L. ENSOR GOODVIEW
