SEEK NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

I THINK President Bush should call on all Americans for another national day of prayer. Only this time, we'll be giving prayers of thanksgiving to God for all his mercies.

It's evident we have a well-trained and mighty fighting force with brilliant leaders, but it's also clear that God was instrumental in our swift victory with relatively low loss of life. Even Gen. Schwarzkopf called it "miraculous."

David said in Psalm 20:7: "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God." TOM HOPKINS DUBLIN
