SALEM WOMAN NAMED MISS DANVILLE FESTIVAL

Melissa E. Spradlin was named Miss Danville Festival during the city's pageant in February. Spradlin, 25, is a daughter of Wanda G. Spradlin of Salem and the late Glenn D. Spradlin.

Spradlin is a registered nurse at the Roanoke Valley Psychiatric Center in Salem. She will compete in the Miss Virginia Pageant in July.
