KEYDETS EARN FIRST BASEBALL VICTORY 12-4

VMI earned its first baseball victory of the season Monday by defeating West Chester (Pa.) 12-4.

Terry Batts went 4-for-5 and Mike Doczi allowed only two hits over six innings as the Keydets gained their first victory in 17 tries.

Batts scored three runs and his RBI single in the second inning triggered a four-run outburst.
