W&L GOLFERS 2ND IN TOURNAMENT

Dan O'Callahan and Conrad Rickers led the way Thursday as Hampden-Sydney won a college golf tournament at the Briery Country Club.

O'Callahan and Rickers each shot a 2-over-par 74 as the Tigers shot a team score of 303 to defeat Washington and Lee (323), Roanoke College (332) and Emory & Henry (356).
