ALSO ON the recycling front: C&P Telephone Co. has been delivering new phone directories. Everyone should recycle rather than discard the old books. Kroger will have bins at its supermarkets through April 22. Businesses should be collecting employees' old phone books. Meantime, mark your calendars: April 20 is Clean Valley and River Day - a day for cleaning up trashy sites. Earth Day will be celebrated April 21. Area residents have plenty of ways to get with the program.
