NAACP OFFICIALS SHOULD DON UNIFORMS

I WONDER if we could possibly get Evangeline Jeffrey and the Rev. Carl Tinsley of the NAACP to get us an investigation into the beating death of a white person, allegedly by two blacks, over the weekend of March 22? If they are so concerned about the person accused of molesting a woman, stabbing her 30 times, and stabbing a city police officer, they could help with this case.

I think Ms. Jeffrey and the Rev. Tinsley ought to don uniforms and work a couple of weeks as Roanoke city police officers. Then they wouldn't have to ask for a federal investigation; they would have it first-hand. JAMES CAMPBELL BEDFORD
