NASSER'S SON ACQUITTED OF TERRORISM CHARGES

A court on Tuesday acquitted the son of the late Gamal Abdel Nasser of charges that he financed and helped organized a terrorist group that made armed attacks against Israeli and U.S. diplomats.

Fifteen other defendants were convicted, including the alleged leader of the Egypt's Revolution group. Twenty defendants were accused of carrying out four terrorist attacks between 1984 and 1987.
