Laura Allison Lam and Daniel Dean Humbert were married April 6, 1991 in the
Daleville Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Steve Van Houten officiated at the
candlelight, double-ring ceremony. The maid of honor was Stacy Lam of Macon,
GA, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sharon Knight of Collinsville; Kay
Murray of Alexandria; and Tammy Stone of Roanoke. Donald Humbert of
Troutville, was his brother's best man. Ushers were Lee Thacker of Troutville;
John Hall of Roanoke; and Mike Mauck of Roanoke. The bride is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson E. Lam of Roanoke. She is a magna cum laude graduate of
Virginia Tech and a former contract administrator for the Environmental
Protection Agency. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Humbert of
Troutville. He is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and Lakeshore
Technical Institute in Cleveland, WI. He is a pilot with U.S. Air Express. The
couple will reside in Lynchburg.
