FINCASTLE - Mrs. Ruby Baird Cook, age 81, died Thursday, April 11, 1991 in a Salem hospital. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, J.P. (Jake) Cook; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Frances Cook, Fincastle; two sisters, Mary Watson, Montvale; Annie Jones, National City, Calif.; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Greg and Jennie Cook, Roanoke; Del Schechterly, Fincastle; one great-grandson, Steven Cook, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2:30 p.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with Dr. Gene Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12:00 noon Friday. Donations may be made to your favorite charity.
