Lewis Edmond (Shorty) McDaniel, age 64, of Catawba, died Thursday in a Salem hospital. He is survived by dear friends, Buddie and Sheila Garman; and many other friends and neighbors. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Halls Cemetery, Catawba. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Salem Chapel.
