Daniel C. Vernon, died Tuesday, April 9, 1991. Mr. Vernon lived in Pensacola, Fla. over 20 years. He was president of Perdido Building & Supply Co., Inc.; a business he began following retirement from a 30 year career with Stockham Valves of Birmingham. He was a engineer graduate of the University of Alabama and served in the Navy during World War II. He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Willett, Roanoke; Cheryl Fox, Pensacola, Fla.; his sister, Margaret Scates, Brookhaven, Miss.; his grandson, Jonathan Willett. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 1991 in Christ Episcopal Church, Pensacola, Fla. with Dr. B.M. Currin officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Fla., P.O. Box 17887, Pensacola, Fla. 32522. Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
