PETERS, ROOSEVELT G.

Mrs. Roosevelt G. Peters, age 88, formerly of Route 3, died Thursday, April 11, 1991, in Roanoke. She was preceded in death by two sons, Carlton and Neil Peters. Surviving are her husband, Harry M. Peters, five daughters and two sons-in-law, Jean and James Morgan of Clinton, Md.; Rita Wilkinson and Majella Wheeler, both of Roanoke; Yvonne and Charles Goldsmith and Wanda Peters of Connecticut; two sons and one daughter-in-alw, Harry D. Peters, Okla.; Joseph L. and Lucille Peters, Missouri; one brother, Charlie Gusler of Ferrum; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Lynch Chapel, Rocky Mount, by Elder Junior Conner. Interment will follow in Republican Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Saturday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
