Dorothy Craig Vaught, age 72, died Thursday, April 11, 1991, in Richfield Retirement Center, Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garlin J. Vaught and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She is survived by one sister, Rachel Carper Davis of Charlottesville; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 14, 1991, at 4:00 p.m. in the Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. prior to services. The Rev. Steve Quesenberry will officiate. Burial will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, Md. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 446, Christiansburg, Va., 24073.
