Robert Jackson (Jack) Farmer, age 60, died Thursday in a Radford hospital. He was a well known Pulaski County Dairy Farmer. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Elks Club, and a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, George R. Farmer. Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Simpkins Farmer, Dublin; his mother, Katie Morgan Farmer, Dublin; a sister, Bettie Farmer Sanders, Dublin; two nieces, Elizabeth Hilliard, Radford; Kay Marie Casper, Oaska, Japan; one nephew, George Blair Sanders, Dublin; two great-nephews, Elliott Ragouzis, Radford; Matthew Blair Sanders, Dublin. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Dublin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank B. Bauman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
