SILENT AUCTION FUNDS TO HELP READING PROGRAM

The Christiansburg Chapter of the Friends of the Library is sponsoring a silent auction through April 28 to benefit area children.

Items for sale are displayed at the Christiansburg library on Sheltman Street and many of the pieces are handmade.

At the end of the two-week bidding period, the person who has made the highest bid will receive that item. Bids can be made during operating hours.

Proceeds from the sale will help fund the Summer Reading Program and other children's programs. Call Angela Little at 382-4548 or Pam Breeding at 731-1238.
